Peter Millar, Director of Technology for ACL
Peter is the Director, Technology Application, at ACL Services Ltd. He has more than 18 years’ experience in the high tech industry in various software and systems integration companies. His responsibilities have spanned program management, marketing, sales, operations, and product development.
For the past 12 years, Peter has been involved in the evolution of analytic solutions for both industry and government. His combination of experience and expertise has helped users in some of the world’s leading organizations to create value-added opportunities by implementing efficient and sustainable business assurance solutions.
Peter sits on the Advanced Technology Committee of The Institute of Internal Auditors. He was the Project Manager and technology contributor to the Global Technology Audit Guide (GTAG) – Continuous Auditing: Implications for Assurance, Monitoring and Risk Assessment. He is also a subject matter expert and co-author of the GTAG on Fraud Detection and Prevention in an Automated World. Peter is an accomplished speaker, having conducted numerous presentations at conferences and seminars in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Australasia.
